As Director of Economic Research and Investments, Dan is a member of the Investment Committee, and he supervises and manages personnel and administrative aspects of the Investments department internally. He routinely helps to synthesize an account of the investing and economic landscape for the committee, and he is a contributor towards industry and individual company and security analysis.  

Dan joined the firm in March 2014. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and an MS in Finance from the Simon Business School. Since beginning his investment career in 1997, he held various roles in both bank and institutional broker-dealer environments. He has traded in equity and fixed income markets for large parts of his career. 

From the beginning of his time at the firm, Dan has coached and mentored many high school and college interns rotating through the Investment Research Department.
